I started investing way back from 2013 during which my successful acquisition of 20,000 shares of 7-Eleven IPO and subsequent profitable disposal became my first motivating kickstart into Bursa Malaysia. Prior to that I did some investments in physical gold and silver plus e-gold. My investing experience is more of an ongoing learning curve. I read lots of books on investing, self-improvement as well as attending free seminars organised by InvestSmart, Bursa Malaysia, Securities Commission, special talk series, Fundsupermart, Phillip Mutual Berhad, etc.

Jefflim1234, the screenshots from my Huawei Media Pad reveals some interesting findings. It shows 16 price levels sequentially priced from 1.840 - 1.990. At all price levels the volume of buying in percentage terms exceeded the volume of selling. 209,600 shares were swallowed up 100% @ 1.990. @1.980 121,000 bidding against selling volume of 53,600. @1.92 buy 134,200 bidding viz.25,500 shares. There seems to be some sort of very "organised" disposal of shares with high capped at 1.990 and low @ 1.840 (higher than yesterday's close)

Jefflim1234, I have a sizeable arsenal of Alcom ballistic missiles for disposal at an appropriate time. In fact I have Alcom shares under 2 CDS accounts with different investment banks.

I began collecting them following the announcement 12 April 2017 initially mentioning about the cash repayment. Alcom came to my attention while I was looking for good small-mid caps with rich dividends.

Frankly speaking, (no intention to boast) when Alcom hits 1.81, I would've already made profit big enough to cover the total of special dividend and cash repayment without having to wait for the ex-dates.

Beyond 1.81, it's extra bonus. By the way, in May I have pledged a donation of RM10,000 for a Chinese school education fund. I think Alcom will be my main sponsor for this initiative. Ha, ha, ha.
