This is a true fact that foreign investors are long ago fearful of putting their money here due to compulsion of rent seekers sitting on the management board.
It's like "ALI BABA & The 40 Thieves" economy.
Hence, the foreigners merely use the country as a service center,R&D and not transfer of technology.
The latest post election finger pointing and threatening of economic sanctions against certain race products shows the stupidity of the government planners and is going to backfire and threaten Malaysia's economy on the whole into the next "Greece of Asia"
Watch out when India impose higher import duty on your crude palm oil,and China tells Malaysia's GLC off that they have cheaper palm oil from their plantations in South Africa.
Then only the government talk cock and bull story of using palm oil as biodiesel.
Try funny some more oil speculators hammer the price of crude oil down, and the revenue of the country sink deeper into the red and the submarine will lie motionless at the bottom of the sea.
