Fortunebulz,

Oil Palm Trees are as tall as 60 feet and can withstand any floods or drought. Its origin is from a desert hardy plant like cactus in West Africa. It adapted very well to Malaysian & Indonesian weather.

It's the worst plant ever! Contribute to global warming! But hey, who cares as long as it makes money! palm oil is now part of almost every food you can think of, that's why 1 in every 8 are overweight!

Worst plant ever?

Think on these:

1) You use Palm oil for cooking, frying chicken and grilling satay.
2) You eat palm oil in margerine and ice cream
3) Cars, bikes, buses, trains & even air planes are powered by palm oil (power of biodiesel)

4) For some houses all the lights, fridge, washing machine, hair dryer, aircond are all powered by electricity generated by biodiesel

5) Plastic products can also be made from biodiesel

6) The soap you bathe with is made from Palm oil (Palmolive)

7) Your hair shampoo also made from Palm Oil.

So like it or not - Everything has palm oil and Palm Oil is in everything

Actually Malaysia government is pure idiot! They should concentrate on downstream instead on exporting CPO alone!

Malaysian Govt has invited Biocon from India to set up factory in SILC, Johor to convert palm oil into useful vitamins & by products.

Also invited a HUGE SOAP MANUFACTURER TO PASIR GUDAND

SEE

KUALA LUMPUR: Evyap Holdings AS, Turkey’s biggest soap manufacturer, is relocating more of its bar soap production to Malaysia to better serve its clients in Asia.

Its subsidiary Evyap Sabun Malaysia Sdn Bhd, has, since 2012, invested more than US$200 million (RM876 million) in a palm oil refinery and soap-making facility in Tanjung Langsat, Johor.

The 350,000 tonne/year facility, Evyap’s first-ever
