Truely ,

What they forgot was how to "make" life while they got busy making money!
We need two kinds of education:

a) One that teaches us how to make a living,

and

b) One that teaches us how to live.

Though I think it is the greed for power & fame that destroy a person, not solely money.
Buffett, Gates, Zuckerbird, Jack Ma, li ka shing, Robert Kuok all so rich but there is no sign money is destroying them atm. We notice they all have a similarity, that is HUMBLE & SIMPLE.
People destroyed by power: Mostly the head of states, either kantoi money or hamsap.
People destroyed by fame : Most celeb and sports stars.
