But it a sin, to try to get better return and provide for the family well being ?

Definitely it is not when u know what u r doing and u have done a through study on the stock u buy loh...!!

If you take the stock market as an avenue to Buy into Good Companies as a form of investment then it is no sin.

On the other hand if KLSE is treated like a casino for just blind luck and a game of chance it is classified as a sin of gambling
