Well, they're not going to take Malaysia's economy anywhere far at all, if all that they do every day & every night is go on and on and on and on about 1MDB, big country debt, cancelling all infrastructure projects etc. etc. etc.
btw, they should separate the income; income from gov related position and income from personal business....i wonder the declared income is only income from gov..
I remember foreign press often quoted ex PM Najib’s salary to be USD70k. That means aro RM300,000 pa. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/06/273m-seized-from-ex-malaysia-pm-with-5670-salary/ Even in the recent al jazeera interview, the lady journalist mentioned that. Some more Tun has slashed his cabinet salary by 10% recently. That’s why I’m curious when the macc list came out, why such big difference? How to read the income listed? If monthly must be inclusive of other income ( but can politicians be involved in running own biz? ) ???
That quoted Jibby salary was referring to his basic salary as PM, I think. It does not include various allowances, which for a high level government servant like him can nearly equal the basic salary.
10% salary cut is a cheap PH political gimmick. If you're earning 30k a month, what is a 3k cut.
