Yes he appreciated DAP so much that he took away the control of Petronas from LGE and gave it to his crony.
so LGE ended up just a book keeper with no powers at all.

why? Most probably he did not want to overwork LGE since Petronas awards contracts in Billions of RM. Thats a lot of work involved.
