You need to distinguish between existing face mask producers who are able to reap the benefits of higher average selling prices due to a rise in demand and companies who just want to join the bandwagon. Companies that were mentioned above are only just planning to invest in the production lines and may take 0.5-1 year to be ready. EG is already producing, it does not even need to make an announcement to tell the world. Nobody is forcing you to do anything, you are smart enough to decide.
