It baffles me why something that should be relatively simple to implement is surrounded with so much confusion.
If the minimum wage is set at Rm1,500, then that is the end of the matter. Any proficient business adds that figure into their business plan template and plans their workforce accordingly. If there is no profit in their business model, they either adjust their model or consider that their business is not viable.

As for "odd job" employees, who in the main do not work a full week/month of prescribed hours, then simply create a minimum hourly rate for those type of casual/part time employees.

Wasn't this MR Minister reported to be one of the highest paid politicians in the country last year? Let's see some proactive action and lateral thinking from him to ensure this is done with equality for all minimum paid employees.
