The same values that China Russia shares....old civilisations, prefers socialism to too much capitalism, both value and honour history and customs, both prefer unity to divisions and fights , Russians and Chinese get along very well, mutual respects, win win.....both Russia and China see themselves as victims of western imperialism, both can identify themselves with the struggles of the global south. Both values peace , unity, prosperity, cultural identity, harmonious living with many many tribes within its borders....

If u look at China and Europe. China spend a lot of effort to keep itself united. So does Russia. Europe on the other hand prefers to divide itself into dozens of countries based tribes.

both Putin and Xi sees the world with the same lens. Both are in agreement what is happening in the world and what needs to be done., Both are brothers and twins.

but Xi Jinping is more lucky than Putin.

because China is united and China is fully behind Xi Jinping. And even without Xi Jinping, China will continue on same path without missing a beat.

Whereas Russia is more unstable. Nobody knows what is Russia without Putin, what becomes of it and what direction it will take is anybody's guess.

and there lies one of the fundamental differences. Unity means u need strong central controls, u don't want so much politiking, fights, debates, u win I lose, fake news, false debates, gangs, political parties, divisions, . What u want is strength in unity, divided will fall.

Xi Jinping wants the party to be in full control. Xi has seen the chaos of the cultural revolution and do not want that to repeat in China.

Xi sees himself as a Chinese emperor............A Chinese emperor whom generations later will still see him as one of the great emperors of China that people love and respect and pray to. Xi is an ambitous man with extra ordinary vision and has done great things for China ...and hopes to do more for china so that his name will forever go down in Chinese history as one of the greatest China ever had.

China always like to support the underdogs. Obama want to kill Assad. But Assad still here, Obama long gone.
