We cannot entertain talk of secession every time some guys have some petty grievances over something

Has Spain ever entertained any request for secession from Basques and Catalonians?

Has Britain ever seriously entertained any talk about secession by Scotsmen, Welshmen or Irishmen?

What is wrong with you guys, unhappy to be Malaysians?

normal phillippines only cry to their masters USA and brit , while the brits were the one who made the rules and manipulated it
theres ntg much can be done ... the west will once again . not get involved and leave it as it is
however , this is the future as tension as escalated and will already happen in the south asian sea with phillippines , china and sabah/ malaysia in a dangerous area ( Malaysia will have to deploy max maritim defence )

If every country is to entertain every secession push, then a whole lot of countries in the world is going to splinter and break up.

You reckon? Well, I for one would not dare to bet my last dingy dollar on that, dude.

US in particular is looking to me like seriously making long term preparations to beef up their presence in the Philippines, with a view to making Philippines their forward base in Western Pacific in the event of a major conflict with China over Taiwan.

The northernmost small island in Philippines, BTW, is only about 100 km from southern coast of Taiwan, so quite within reasonable striking distance.
