The “new normal” shift to Online businesses will bode well for courier companies despite the stiff competition. Existing and established players will always have “first mover” advantage. Surge in demand will be astonishing couple with economies of scale benefit and low oil prices.

J&T office operate from 8am to 8 pm. Cannot fight d la GDEX. These new player is funded heavily by big e-commerce heavyweight with tonnes of money. Throwing in money to make sure delivery charges is "affordable". By affordable they means "free"

Gdex touched its 100% fabionacci number today, at 0.36sen. The next level to watch for is the 0.42 or 6 sen away. It still has room to grow. Looking at the courier business, they may be facing competition but the name is established - like FedEx. The two month going three MCO will directly benefit them - if you take a walk to their hubs, you will see that each morning the parcels are overflowing onto the pavement for pickup. Now if this is not good business period, what else. Until 11am, buyers control market at 0.35. Strong momentum. Let's wait for 0.40

That was former Governor after Zeti. How much is his shareholding? That means the run hasnt even started yet, just some people with foresight collecting from till 0.36 today. Chartwise, things look good. 0.40 is within reach over next two weeks - afterall by Sept, their business during MCO would have contributed to the results

My friend who is in freight business and import, have already abandoned J&T for Gdex. Parcels take too long to arrive even before MCO. Again this may not reflect the true picture - but GDex already have the facilities in line and presense. The brand is also firmly established. In a tight market, all these are plus points, and especially when your best competitor is not pulling its weight

Most of the volume growth come from e-commerce. Other segment quite stagnant. I prefer to use J&T coz they r super easy. Order from Shopee just pack and drop at their office. No need q, no need fill in form and no need to pay

If J&T loses, Gdex gain more. Gdex benefits from fewer hubs because of centralised areas. J&T has more hubs, I think

J&T backer got tonnes of money. 50 million is pocket change for them. No worry. Their backer make tonnes of money from e-commerce and channel back the money to J&T. Thus ensuring delivery charges remain low. Those without backer will suffer.
