Macdx shows that institutions/big guys have been in control since 4 June. I'm not that good with TA but so far nothing suggests Genetec will take a breather at the moment.

PAT should be at least 40million rm based on 20% net margin. look at greatech's margins. AND MULTIPLY BY the P/E of greatech. that should be at least the fair value for genetec

1m units DBT today morning at RM11.80.

1m shares = 2% shareholding, quite alot for this tightly controlled counter.

Some say RM11.80 is big discount to market. Yes and No.
Yes, compared to today's price of RM13-16, is between 15%-30% discount.

But, as of last Thursday, high was RM10.60
Only Friday the share price surpassed RM11.80 to close RM13.02. Most likely the DBT price was confirmed as of last Friday, to be executed this morning (Monday).

So how do we interpret this DBT? Usually a fund house would take a discounted block to have a good entry point as they start to officially cover the stock and promote to their clients/broker networks. After all, everyone needs some incentive to start marketing work ma haha

Expect more accumulation of Genetec from various fund houses and HNWI alike, as they are advised by their advisors who are looking to book handsome performance fees in the coming one year with the outperformance of Genetec.
