Intel technology is 6 years behind TSMC.

Intel will be launching their 7nm using TSMC technology in 2023, delayed due to legacy issues in 2020.

TSMC will be mass producing 3nm in 2022.

The tech know how is important and cannot be bought by money because its Intellectual Property.

Even China, famous for copying are struggling to compete with TSMC without the right tools.

Get your facts right.

To fans of Intel, TSMC or Frontken. Chill Chill.

No need to talk down on any companies or prove each others view points.
Each of us have our own views/assumptions.

The naysayer seems interested in Frontken that he often visit and comments here frequently. Probably waiting for better price for his entry.

If he is not interested in Frontken completely, then he is just a kind person helping the world. We can thank the person for being so friendly in reminding us the risks from his view points all the time.

FRONTKEN Corporation Bhd’s dominant position in the niche segment of precision cleaning services for the technology players has earned the group a buy call from JF Apex Research.

In its maiden note on the stock today, the research house reported that Frontken had been a leading global player in the segment for close to a decade due to its “huge initial investment and fast-changing technology development”.

This means Frontken has no direct listed competitor in Malaysia. Its closest rival is Taiwanese company Shih Her Technologies Inc that had been a laggard due to “lower operating efficiency for the past five years”, JF Apex said.

Ares Green also very recently (mayb 2020, need to confirm with TSMC homepage) received one of the few awards given out anually by TSMC...

Dont just simply throw out TP without any analysis or justifications. Dont affect others new investor to buy just bcz you are holding it and want the price higher.

Most of tech stock price is already in next 2 year level. You still expecting it to go higher now bcz TSMC is expanding? Expansion will only be materialised in next 3 year and you now want the price reflect next 3 years price so that you can sell and run away? This action is most ppl wanted to have now.

So be aware and look at the risk and reward for this counter at current price.

Catalysts for higher revenue & profit from the business with TSMC
1. More 7nm and 5nm wafers production. These are the crazy high margin wafer from TSMC and also more demanding maintenance tasks which Frontken supports. Hence, should be able to garner higher profit margin too. TSMC production is running > 100% capacity.

2. Expansions of new foundry from TSMC in Arizona. USD 3.5billion was announced.
Definitely need maintenance team to support the foundry too. Opportunity from Frontken to go to Arizona. 5nm Foundry Production start from 2024.

3. TSMC capex of USD 100bil in 3 years.
Very little information about the USD 100bil. I think they are talking about 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Some will go into capacity expansion and some R&D. Either way, they will need maintenance too.
Do you think Frontken stand a chance?

Shares are always forward looking. Dont you think so?
High semiconductor demands from Automotive, Data Centers, Crypto on top of the consumer electronics like smartphones + 5G chips + HPC. These demands are squeezing the semiconductor capacity now.

By the way, Intel and Samsung also announced huge Capex for coming years spending. It shows that the demands are strong to justify new expansions. Of course R&D will be part of it for smaller nm technologies.

Yes share are forward looking. So can you tell the forward PE for this year, next year and next 3 year?

You can even calculate the PEG from now till next 3 year to justify.

If you are able to calculate it and justify it's a good buy, then I will totally agree with you.

Well I have my own judgement on the stock.. u may have urs too... with my homework and judgement I believe the future is bright for This counter... if you think it won’t then you can just buy another counter . It’s simple :) Just do ur own homework and analysis then you will be confident

Yes future is bright but current price is most likely alrdy ahead of future earnings significantly. This is valuation.

Dont invest just based on a sentence "Future is bright". Else you will not sustain in investment. Learn more in valuation.

Intel market share is dominants toward PC,laptop and data centre. No doubt about that.

TSMC market share is towards smart phone, tablet, EV, gaming console,IOT and data centre.

Besides that, TSMC manufacture chips for Intel as well.
