Wow! Price of CI Holding has skyrocketed to RM2.50 up 48 cents. Do you think for nothing insiders are buying at this good price? I believe coming QR should be good. There is a possibility of interim dividend or bonus issue.
The Co had on 3 Feb 2021 received a notice of dealings in the securities of CI Holdings during closed period from a Director who acquired 30,300 shares @ average 1.90/share. From the sudden interest and buying activities of the investing public I would venture to surmise that something is brewing in the coming half yearly result due by the end of the month, like very good profits and maybe a special dividend.
The price has finally breached the RM3 resistance. I hope you will not say that CI Holdings is "The One That Got Away". Good luck to all of you CI Holdings fans!
dompeilee I bought a little of this @ 1.38 early Oct '19 to attend meeting. Collected Intercontinental Hotel packed lunch(hi quality delicious!), 2 bottles of cooking oil, 8c dividend & today, after securing the 10c dividend, I SOLD 40% of my shares from 1.64 down to 1.57 27/10/2020 3:31 PM
On hindsight,2 foolish selling 40% BUT hanging on to remainder 60%...=)
Momentum snapped as soon as I posted my comment at 3.09pm. Trying to fake the pump and dump setup to deter retail investors from buying. Pumper farming data from i3investor forums. My backtest actually worked haha
EPS IS 43.2 CENTS BUT PAYING 12 CENTS DIVIDEND. THIS MEANS ONLY 28 % PAYOUT RATIO, NOT EVEN AT 1/3 OR 33%. HOWEVER, ON THE POSITIVE NOTE, CI HOLDING HAS PARED DOWN A LOT OF BANK BORROWINGS AND HOPEFULLY, MORE DIVIDEND CAN BE PAID OUT NEXT YEAR.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
