Interesting to see why VT keep selling bjcorp despite his shareholding already met the requirement. Who is the buyer? And more interestingly, they tried to keep the price within this range with last minute sell for past few days trading. Let's see whether we have any major announcement in next few days. Quarterly report out and probably announcement of purchase of the insurance company.
VT + Bjcorp own total 87.74% of Bj Land, as at 23/02/23. Much higher above the 80% limit.
With such low price of Bj Land now, bulk selling is not likely anymore. The best move is go for privatisation. Only 12.26% to go.
Same as PBI, 88.26% owned, delist it shall be same good move like Bj Land, to ease the re-structuring of bringing HR Owen from BPI, to STM, to BjLand, to BjCorp.
You are right...both BJCorp/BJLand went above 0.50 in May 2021...timing is very important for VT in Fung Shui?...let's wait for VT's latest announcement...he doesn't like people to pre-empt him?...
kahhoeng
haha...quite frankly, I also believe BCorp and BLand are worth between 0.60 and 1.00 per share
Iskandar Malaysia to be special economic region will boost BJAsset since the later has some strategic land currently submerged around Causeway and RTS. The land is also around CIQ and Berjaya Waterfront. The land value will be further boosted with such developments even before new developments on the land. Revaluation of the land will add further to BJA current valie. That bodes well for BJC and BJL from the cross shareholdings despite of the shrinking shares from BJC.
