i think wont be too wrong to go into mas .. one of the lowest traded national airline in the region .. even garuda indo in tradin at much higher value .. rigths issue + previous provision adjustment in pnl, i think shld be a gd bet ..

The terms of payment were specified on the MAS-OR application form.

My humble opinion is investors must sell the mother shares now which will be hoovering around this range till the payment of rights date.
Use this sale to buy the form and subscribe for the shares.Indirectly you are averaging it down.
We investors are all SDN BHD and not Berhad entity with unlimited funds.

This counter is an approved SHORT SELLING counter.
Don't worry about the short term bounce,it is better to take a small loss than the mother of all losses.

We investors thought the stock market jungle is like Beauty and the Beast.
There were many traps along the way and MAS-OR has been distributing from 10:00am till 12:30pm with peat sand booby traps.
Sometimes we thought there's a beautiful stream ahead forgetting to use our compass(chart) as our survival tool.

So Mas-OR maybe will fall to 0.005 cent and Mas mother will down below 0.30 cent but anything will be happen for GLC counter...so better dont play with this counter

benhctan, MAS approved SHORT SELLING counter, can u pls enlighten how to go about to short it? certainly would short sell it at present price.

Traders have to borrow from the Central Lending Agency (CLA) managed by Bursa Clearing House where they have appointed participating investment banks.Certain lending fees will be required.You need to open a special trading account for this instance.

In the case if you hold this particular stock,you can only perform the normal trading.
This is like what we hear everyday from retailers,"I sell first then buy back later"

To do short selling, u must have holding share....Sold 0.10 cent and buy back 0.03 cent

don't trust too much what is written by this newspaper, questionable motives.

don't be trapped by them so that u would be forced to subscribe for the rights!!! hold your horses until the new MAS shares flood the market, u might even be able to get it below rights' price.
