Study this post very very very carefully only then you will understand why you must selling palm oil upstream to buy palm oil downstream

Fgv got Saji cooking oil

Tsh jv Wilmar got Arowana Cooking oil selling in China

USA is now a big exporter of oil and gas so do you think US is going to be so kind and charitable to push down oil and gas price?

By the way Indonesia CPO local price is international price minus duty and levy.
You can check how much TSH pay this duty and levy.

A palm oil refinery is not considered as downstream as it is not costly to build a refinery.

So when you are taking about valued added downstream it mean functional fat and oleochemicals.

In the oil palm plantation industry, there were three main chains of activities, including upstream (nursery, planting, and harvesting), midstream (milling, sterilization, and oil extraction), and downstream (specific end-product).

The types of downstream products that are supervised by the Industry Ministry consist of intermediate products such as PKE (palm kernel expeller), crude palm kernel (PK) olein, crude PK stearin, RBD (refined, bleached, deodorised palm oil) (bulk), RBD palm stearin (bulk), RBD palm olein (bulk), palm fatty acid ...

Hoho yes TSH have advantage on Labour minimum wages on its Indonesia Palm oil plantation… TSH had disposed a plantation n a Mill in Sabah …

Tsh jv Wilmar got Arowana Cooking oil selling in China — only in Sabah not cover Indonesia.

But TSH had serious hidden risk :

TSH : change in Principle Officer :

2) Resignation of Principal Officer :

A) ED Tan resigned on June 2022

B ) Ex CFO resigned on June 2022

C) CFO Tan whom is appointed on June resigned on 4/8/2022 ….

D) New CFO Fong resigned on 1/9/2024

E) Group MD Tan resigned on 1/9/2024

Hoho recalled during Armada FPSO First Oil in North Sea on 2017 .. the production cost is $ 25 to $ 32 per barrel

The production cost of a barrel of shale oil ranges from as high as US$95 per barrel to as low US$25 per barrel, although there is no recent confirmation of the latter figure.

Leading oil and gas companies in the U.S. 2021-2023, by lowest production costs. Equinor SAS is the oil and gas company with the lowest production costs for operations in the United States at 4.03 dollars per barrel of oil equivalent.

$10 per barrel

Saudi Arabia has a superpower. Not only is it the largest exporter of crude oil in the world; its production costs for oil projects are also the lowest in the world, at around just $10 per barrel. When around 75% of your fiscal revenue comes from oil, that's a big deal.

👉 The Lowest is $2 per barrel.

-

Russia's production cost that averages USD 15 per barrel) .

-
Oil shale in China is an important source of unconventional oil. A total Chinese oil shale resource amounts of 720 billion tonnes, located in 80 deposits of 47 oil shale basins. This is equal to 48 billion tonnes of shale oil.[1]At the same time there are speculations that the actual resource may even exceed the oil shale resource of the United States.

However, officials have confirmed a delay until February, giving businesses a 1.5-month grace period. Furthermore, the government has announced that by 2026, the biodiesel blend will increase to B50

1.) More Leased land is terminated ? Or rented land ? Or became Sawah Padi ??

2.) Palm trees r getting old ?? Due to replanting cost ???

3.) Due to Tall Palm trees ( old trees ) labour skill shortage ???

GOVERNMENT
Indonesia rolls out B40 policy for diesel imports, emission cuts starting this month
January 7, 2025
Reading Time: < 1 minute
Save Article
The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) began the implementation of the B40 biodiesel policy on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, with the prime target of emission reduction and cut imports cut.

Minister of ESDM, Bahlil Lahadalia, said that with the mandatory determination of B40, the biodiesel quota in 2025 is set to increase to 15.6 million kiloliters (KL). This amount is up by 20 percent from the realization of B35 absorption in 2024 which reached 12.98 million KL. B40 is a mixture of 60 percent diesel fuel and 40 percent biofuel from palm oil.

“We have decided on the increase from B35 to B40. Today, we announce that the policy has been effective as of (Wednesday) January 1, 2025,” Bahlil said on Friday, January 3, 2025.

Meanwhile, he added, that the water content of B40 will continue to be improved from the implementation of this biodiesel.

“There are several things we have to do, we are currently compiling so that the water content can really be fixed. Now it is 320, there are still measures we have to take related to transportation because we will increase the ship’s specifications so that the water content is really as minimum as possible,” he cited.

The government plans to continue with 50 percent biodiesel blending (B50) in 2026 if B40 can be improved. If this goes ahead, Bahlil is confident that Indonesia will not need to import diesel fuel next year.

“So the implementation of B40 in 2025, while preparing for the implementation of B50 in 2026. If this is done, then our imports of Solar, God willing, will definitely no longer exist in 2026. So at the same time, this is part of the presidential order regarding energy security,” he concluded.

PublicInvest ceases coverage on TSH Resource due to slow growth, sluggish FFB yield
By Faiqah Kamaruddin
May 21, 2024 @ 11:02am

KUALA LUMPUR: Public Investment Bank (PublicInvest) is ceasing its coverage of TSH Resources Bhd due to the company's limited growth prospects and sluggish fresh-fruit bunches (FFB) yield.
The firm said it is reallocating its internal sources to other sectors.

Investors should no longer depend on any of our financial forecasts for TSH Resources in making investment decisions, nor infer any adverse opinion as a result of our decision to cease research coverage," said PublicInvest.

In a research note today, PublicInvest said FFB pr13,214 hectaresoduction growth is anticipated to be subdued this year due to the sale of plantation assets in Indonesia and Sabah () over the past two years.

"Additionally, the average age of the plantations is increasing (currently 13.4 years old), and FFB yield remains low due to insufficient replanting activities in recent years," PublicInvest said.

Hoho Jtiasa had more hidden risks than TSH :

1.) TSH : Average tree age 13.4 years …
Jtiasa : Average tree age 14 years ..

2.) Jtiasa facing own plantation is reducing n some lease land is terminated.

3.) Jtiasa plantations in Pulau Bruit is identified by Sarawak govt is suitable for Hybrid Rice cultivation on February 2024 .

4.) TSH reserve n retained earning is sufficient for the Replanting…. But JTIASA is much Not Sufficient for Replanting Cost .

Hahahaha do you need retained earning for replanting?
Can you do your replanting form your cash flow?
Per year need to replant how many hectare?

Jayatiasa already answer replanting cost
The cost per Ha is as follows:
Land preparation & seedling: RM7,500 per Ha
Upkeep Year 1: RM3000 per Ha
Upkeep Year 2: RM3500 per Ha
Upkeep Year 3: RM4000 per Ha

Know how much is Jayatiasa cash flow?
And how much Jayatiasa distributed the dividend from retained earning?
Know what is the productivity of a 14 year palm tree?

Repost:
Key facts about oil palm:

Oil palms are perennial crops with a productive lifespan of 25-30 years
They produce two types of oil: palm oil from the fruit’s flesh and palm kernel oil from the seed
Oil palms are the highest-yielding vegetable oil crop per unit area
Major producing countries include Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Nigeria

Oil Palm Yield by Age
Understanding the oil palm yield by age is crucial for effective plantation management and long-term planning. Oil palms have a distinct yield pattern throughout their productive lifespan:

Years 1-3: Establishment phase with no significant yield
Years 4-7: Rapidly increasing yield as palms mature
Years 8-15: Peak production phase
Years 16-25: Gradual decline in yield
Beyond 25 years: Significant decrease in productivity, often leading to replanting
Here’s a more detailed breakdown of the oil palm yield by age:

Age (Years) Approximate Yield (Tons of Fresh Fruit Bunches per Hectare)
3-4 5-10
5-7 10-20
8-15 20-30
16-20 15-25
21-25 10-20

Hoho repost on TinKosongLeader Kon ss leee twisted on Jtiasa replanting cost:

1020 hectares in Simalau Plantation:

Year 1 : RM 18.9 million
Year 2 : RM 25.2 million
Year 3 : RM 32.4 million

Total = RM 76.5 million

>>> RM 75,000 per hectare/ 3 years >>> RM 25,000 per hectare / year … compared to my earlier post RM 30,000 per hectare .

Currently, replanting costs range from RM20,000 to RM30,000 per hectare, translating to an estimated RM13 billion for a comprehensive national replanting initiative targeting oil palms over 25 years old.8 Oct 2024

An average IQ person will know that the planting cost refer is in cumulative 3 years RM 32.4 million for 1020 hectare.

After that you can start havesting the FFB on the 4th year abit the FFB production is low.
