由于政府项目减少和房产供过于求影响下，稳固控股截至2019年8月31日首季净利按年下挫54.37%至685万4000令吉。

该公司首季营业额按年下滑34.70%至1亿零416万2000令吉。

展望未来，该公司看好在大型项目加速复苏以及可负担房屋建造下，2020年建筑业增长将高于今年的1.7%，至3.7%，市场总值将达699亿令吉。

该公司管理层透过文告指出，复苏的大型基建项目包括大马城、轻快铁3、泛婆罗洲高速公路和东海岸铁路项目等，料推动大马建筑领域。

稳固控股管理层表示，公共支出减少、营业利润率急剧下降以及财政不确定性仍然对公司构成挑战，接下来他们将继续提高效率，同时加大成本优化，并建立可增强业务竞争力的伙伴关系。

该公司董事经理拿督黄安辉表示，除了积极开展一些大型基础设施项目，他们还将进入医疗特许经营兼建筑行业和可再生能源行业，为集团提供更稳定的收入来源。

“我们也正在与几个州政府讨论一些垃圾填埋场采矿和资源回收项目。”

在新业务医疗（特许经营兼建设）方面，他表示，目前正在进行3家新医院的最终确认，并预计在4-8年内建立5-10家医院。
