4 factors determine the behaviour of stock players: Ignorance, greed, fear and hope. Everyone goes in hoping to get quick money. When it goes up, one wants more. But no stock goes up forever. When the price goes down, one hopes that it is only temporary, perhaps even buy more as it is cheaper now. what happens if it goes down further? one starts to fear, panic as no one can tell how low it will go. some choose to cut loss, hoping to buy back at a lower price later. but how sure are you that it will not go up after you cut loss? it is this little movements of prices that got the players stucked. This is a zero sum game. Your gain is someone else's loss. the real winner is actually the g't. win or lose we have to pay stamp duty. There is no guarantee that all who play share make money. I lost 6-figure in the crash after the 1993 bull-run. one thing i can say is that i must take responsibility for my own action becos i am the one who made the decision. people can say what they want, but believing it is your choice. ordering a buy is your choice to make. it is an extremely risky game. one can lose like crazy. one also can make tons of money and be rich. there are >1000 counters to choose from. many are money losing concerns, yet their price fly. one thing i have learnt is that do not be ignorant of the counter that i want to buy. it is the fun that got me stucked.
