WASHINGTON (TND) — As cases of omicron are still soaring across the country, hospital systems in several states are overloaded.

New data shows that Maryland state hospitals are the most “COVID-stressed” in the country with one in every three beds filled by a coronavirus patient.

The new measurement is used by states to determine which services hospitals are able to provide to people without severe coronavirus cases.

According to NBC News’ Data Point, hospitals in 19 states are under extreme stress, meaning at least one in every five patients is being treated for COVID-19. Four weeks ago, zero states ranked extreme. There are also 30 states that are considered to be under high stress.

According to the University of Minnesota's COVID-19 Hospitalization Tracking Project, 77% of hospitals are under high or extreme stress.

That means some of these facilities are not able to handle all preventative services like cancer screenings or elective surgeries...

Last year after Delta strike also most glove companies not able to beat their previous extraordinary QR.

Now many new manufacturers on the earth making medical gloves.

No matter how big they are then there is high possibility that their market share will slowly getting reduce in future as compared to the prepandemic year 2020.

Thats the fact that many glove supporter unwilling to accept.

Looking at current price and PE ratio, analysts are assuming very low revenues and profits due to vaccine roll out. With Omicron and more variants out there, the view need to be calibrated. Next week results for Hartalega will provide some clues.. Believe it will outperform.

So general, what is low revenue and profits? Mean comparable to pre-pandemic time or even worst than pre-pandemic? Pre-pandemic as I know around 350 - 400 million annually, in fact actually, 2021, they earn the most, to 7 billion compare to 2 billion in 2020 annually, that is why to the company, it is never in crisis......

Baru someone cakap Omicron wave sudah finish. Mana ada true lah. US cases Ular upadate for you lah. 54 mil to 64mil. Ular cakap 70mil kambing soon. Now almost 68mil already leh. By this weekend ingat pecah 70mil lah. Why like that. They didnt use glove kah. Most liky lah. Same as JPM macai cakap one. Gloves cannot prevent Omicron from spreading so they never wear gloves lah. High demands of gloves in US and Europe as record high cases,hospitalizations and testings since December as pandemic is no where near over.Top 4 gloves except Supermax will experience increased orders and higher utilization rate with reduced raw materials cost

The whole world also know Q1 2022 or Q2 2022 ASP baru normalised leh. If can get better result most likely from the US market side increased revenue leh. Other than that Omicron may initiate more restocking of gloves by customers leh. Wait QR out will know lah. All also guessing game only as we all talk paper only leh. Accept reality lah, cases are dropping in the US just like what had happened in South Africa. The covid endemic stage are beginning. No PPE supply crisis are going to happen since the user are finite but there are too much supply capacity that appear during the crisis phase
