今天股价与成交量激增的星光资源(SKP RESOURCES，7155)与德力(TECNIC，9741)料将进行合并!这2只股票今天在下午4点57分，双双要求交易所暂停股票交易，以公布重大企业消息。该公司虽没有说明会停牌多少个交易日，惟据《资汇》探悉，2只股票会停牌3个交易日，并会在本周四(10月2日)向交易所呈报消息。星光资源与德力都是由颜金发控制的上市公司，颜金发持有星光资源的49.51%股权；在德力的持股则为38.71%。但是这2家公司并没有互相持有对方股权，换句话说，2家公司拥有共同的大股东。《资汇》之前专访颜金发时，曾问及是否会合并星光资源与德力，因2家公司的业务相近，都是从塑胶产品。惟他当时表示，2家公司业务虽接近，但客户群不同，所以没有合并的计划。星光资源停牌前股价报71仙，急涨17%或10.5仙；德力则做5.08令吉，升高31仙或6.5%。

Merger benefit both. both skpres is the bigger beneficiary due to Dyson factor.
Dyson need skpres more than skpres need Dyson.

dont b suprise Dyson take up a strategic stake in the merged entity. if that happen, u wont see Skpres below 1.00.

100m cash, divided 900m shares would only be 11 cts per share. No big deal really.
Also, it has gone up more than 11 cts this week.

tpchuayap - I have made a big mistake on this counter... accidently sold half of the share when the price increased, due to I have set my upper limit at 0.65... never expected it will increased so fast yesterday, no chance at all to cancel the selling order :(

Anyway, I am still holding on SKPRES and some other counters in my portfolio. AsiaPac, Matrix & Padini. All are for long term investing. Expected by year end will having good gain from those counters.
