bullmarket1628. He has to buy at higher pricelah through his nose if want to gain control again. Maybe 1.50 apiece because sardin81 only plan to sell at this price or higher

Posted by Keeninvestor11 > 2021-09-07 10:18 | Report Abuse

Guys, before pandemic KNM was 40 plus sen together with Armada. Armada has recovered and back to 40 plus sen. So now is KNM turn to be at 45 sen before shooting up to next level. Why KNM take so long to recover ? Because too many ill intention and too many fear stories spread by some culprits for their own interest. Now MAA is one of the biggest shareholder, there will be fight to acquire more to gain control. Therefore price will go continue to go up.
Anyway trade with your own discretion and it is your decision, don't blame anyone.

I think major shakeup of top mgmt in d work, inc change of CEO. Current CEO TKP is LSE's lapdog, don't think new players trust him. German Flovia is ok

I am guessing MAA will accumulate more KNM shares to more than 10% shareholding . They have 7 days to disclose the changes in substantial shareholding, still within the disclosure rules. It won’t cost them too much in order to seek for board representation or even boardroom control and to be able to convene a shareholder meeting. Doesn’t make sense if MAA only buy 7% unless it’s short term or purely passive play…

@Vhydro, very good. Still got lot of room to go up. Let's huat together with other KNM investors.

NagaCorp Ltd. ("The Company") is one of the world's most profitable gaming companies, and the largest gaming entertainment company in the Mekong Region. Its wholly-owned subsidiary NagaWorld owns, manages and operates Phnom Penh's only integrated hotel-casino entertainment complex, which owns a casino license with a 70-year tenure (until 2065) and a 51-year monopoly within a 200 km radius of Phnom Penh (until 2045).

The Company was the first gaming IPO on the Hong Kong Exchange, and was the first foreign-owned company with operations in Cambodia ever listed overseas. Since its listing in 2006 to date, NagaCorp has achieved significant success in private-public sector cooperation. It has raised the international profile of its host country, contributing to local tourism Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and attracting Foreign Direct Investments (FDI).

Its founder and controlling shareholder Tan Sri Dr. Chen Lip Keong's emphasis on managing a "First-World Company in a Developing Nation" with transparency and compliance aligned to global best practices sets the standard of governance for the Company; in addition, over the years, the Company's achievement of strong financial success has declared high annual dividends and delivered growth to its shareholders.

Not only MAA is collecting, parties working in concert also collecting. No chance LSE can maintain control. He need to sell out n his cost high

I suggest LSE keeps his shares n sell later when price reaches higher platform like Sardin81 suggested.

in fact, I would prefer MAA to make a general offer for KNM. See if it can get more than 50% and make KNM its subsidiary and still maintain listing status of KNM and take full control. It is possible as the shareholdings structure of KNM is so fragmented and no one control 25% ... so ripe to take control.

I think it will be hard for any one group to have control. It will take a collective of shareholders with a common idea to make a difference from a shareholder level. Key here is cash flow. Knm cash reserve is very low. Debts high. Time to liquidate some assets and turn the tables.

Posted by sense maker > 2021-09-07 13:22 | Report Abuse

Knm’s loan to buy borsig in 2008 still sits in today’s books. Net debt of rm1b plus renders the current market valuation of rm1b rich.

MAA sitting on huge cashpie after selling their Msia insurance arm. Once in control, will inject fund into KMN to retire borrowing. Win-win situation, good for shareholders except LSE, whose intention is to milk KNM for own benefits

My take is MAA n Nagaworld, both cash rich would conduct corporate Excercise because KNM has huge potential in Borsig, WTE Peterborough, Thailand ethanol, Italian FBM

it's hard to subscribe that someone who founded and at helm of the company would sell just because someone advice him to do so.
could it be maybe he knows something that the public does not know ? it's a question. i don't know about KNM. I came to know KNM coz of MAA and from the limited public info or news like https://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/curious-happenings-knm
Indeed it's curious happening ever since.

I have bet some on KNM yesterday just based on the speculation that i think MAA will increase to more than 10% ....

I started buying KNM back in June 2021 and keep accumulating my shares.

I like to read the positive & negative comments (thanks to sardin81 for all the advices and valuable input). The articles and news release also convinced me on this counter

This counter has been occupying the top 3-5 most active counter quite a long time (few time being on the top) and also the most active comment (hehehe). That's why I like this counter.

Started to make his moves few weeks ago although not much between 0.5 to 1 cent daily but sedar tak sedar managed to push his value up nearly 80%. Slow and steady but keep maintaining the momentum without turning back.

I will put my faith on this counter and see how it goes.

Without prejudice. I believed LSE started pairing down his holdings in July after his retirement . Part of his holdings was acquired thru the Esos scheme granted and exercise by him and his spouse. Apparently there is no siblings or heir { except for the wife} on the board. What was unexpected is the sudden emergence of the MAA group holding a direct stake of 7% {which in theory is bigger than his holdings. rumors of MAA upping their stake further plus another third party gunning for KNM { certainly brings the company into the limelight} KNM diverse shareholding spread with no major or controlling shareholder } makes its a prime candidate for O&G merger or potential take over target. MAA as an investment fund must have a solid reason for their investment and a exoerience partners overseeing this O&G segment. This is not a buy call just my own guessing game
