Other operating expenses is advertising cost + promotional expenses.

One very interesting point I noticed is that topline is all time high. Now, this is quite surprising. PWROOT business is known to be seasonally weak during Puasa Month.

I will initiate position in pwroot if there is a great bargain. Keep in watchlist.

I think only this quarter the results is weak , as management issued 4cent dividend higher den last YoY qtr and it seems to me that upcoming quarters should be satisfactory to validate the higher dividend.

Dave kok boon, my opinion same with you. higher marketing and promotion will reflex result next quarter. his business no problem. but higher raw material cost is concern. unless he can pass cost to customer

The 4 cent dividend is for last quarter. This quarter didnt declare any dividend. Is on alert mode alr. Sell b4 too late. Might break the support level @ 2.00 and drop all the way to 1.85

This quarter they did declared another 4 sen dividend for financial year 2018. 2.5 sen first interim dividend + 1.5 sen special dividend.

revenue increase, but inventory decrease.. it has caused the gross profits down. raw material cost also drop in next quarter. fundamental still good. however price down trend gap appear. be aware coffeeundamental still good.

if you observe in the market, a lots of place have pwroot product, even in book store like popular also have their product selling, as the CEO saying they spend lots of money on advertise their products, I believe next QTR net profit should be flying 1 with revenue increase

Also international sugar price have drop from usd 21 to usd 14 now, same goes to coffee future from usd151 to usd127 now which we should see margin improve at least double digit

Yeah, visit book fair at klcc last time also, strong promoting their ah huat coffee and coco, and they have giving out coco for try as marketing inside ah huat coffee. Hope next quarter net profit not disappointing us :-)

KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 14): RHB Retail Research said Power Root Bhd may climb higher after forming a long white candle and leaving an upside gap.

In a trading stocks note today, the research house said the upward momentum may persist after it breached above the downtrend line drawn in the chart.

“A bullish bias may appear above the RM2.13 level, with an exit set below the RM1.94 threshold.

“Towards the upside, the immediate resistance point is seen at the RM2.48 level. This is followed by the RM2.75 level,” it said.
