To be more realistic, Sabah and Sarawak going to have their state elections soon so they will have their own election consideration.

Shafie Apdal currently have no choice because earlier on he is not so firm until sided to PH. So it will remain the same.

But GPS is different, GPS managing Sarawak quite consistently i mean in certain extent they managing quite well (of cos we cannot always use Property Development as the key indicator) in terms of balanced aspects. Unlike Shafie Apdal, he is depend on PH.

In this Case, is the federal government more depend on GPS.

To remain consistent and avoid, at this moment, to cause further political unstable, i think GPS stand will be remain status quo or we can interpret this way GPS support "no political unstable" same as how they manage sarawak. Otherwise, in state election, it will be posted an image that is the GPS cause the further changes of government which cause to more economic unstablity.

I still strongly believe, GPS wont take definite stand for both parties. Either PN, or PH. They will not joined.

But only he can give a stand they insist for political consistency in this moment of time.

So we just lets see what would happened.

GPS (Gabungan Parti Sarawak) have a very special political position.

All the while, they have very strong local support even back to BN time. Not even UMNO, MCA and etc can compete with them.

What is the political benefit if they, at this moment, support PH? Just to exchange DAP and PKR dont compete in coming sarawak state election? I think PH, especially DAP and PKR overestimate their politlcal power in Sarawak.

Of cos, unless, PN government too silly in aggressive way to implement those "islamic" policies such as alcohol and entertainment policies which may contradict to Sabah Sarawak Culture. Otherwise, PN should have better position, not because their political direction but only one reason "politcal stable".

NOW GPS due to PH media strategy, now become the main party to support whether change of government will be success (so GPS is the key factor of poltical stability). So if you are the GPS, will you take the risk that people pointing you as the key culprit if later on the political and economic unstable just simply for PH (especially PKR, DAP and Amanah and of cos TM) benefit?

Dont forget now the CM of Sarawak (Chairman of GPS) is DUN not Parliament member. If give another Sarawak Parliament member (Deputy Chairman of GPS) as Deputy Prime Minister, then his position will be higher than current CM of Sarawak. Will the chairman accept it?

Looks like very likely PH strategy have to dig some Parliament members direct from GPS instead of getting whole GPS to support. You know what will be the end result? The whole GPS will be anger on this and show further firm support to PN end of the day.

Therefore, yesterday PN/BN have a good strategy move. Get back the support from Ex-Umno member (earlier on is independent parliament member) to pledge support not only to PN but also to GPS sarawak state government.

This is more important than 1-2 seats more. But is a very important strategy to get sarawak GPS support. As more firm stand come in to place, i think more independent or PH seats will jump to PN as they know if in bad scenario to re-election, they will:

1) whether their own party will nominate them to elect in coming elections
2) even they are nominated, whether they can win?

This 2 is very critical for their own interest, if fail to answer. Then they will focus to maximise their benefit in this current term and avoid any re-election.

Lets waiting for PH (with advises from their so called good strategy/tactical advisors) make the critical mistake/error in handling this Sarawak party. They forgot GPS is strong and people need to depend on them not they depend on federal. They wish to have a political stable environment which can ensure their management is smooth.

If Muhyiddin cannot control the name usage right of Bersatu, then Muhyiddin and gang will join back UMNO.
