I think tis company is in the right direction lah, going into digital biz, that's the future! i see they do e-jamin for the bail system, then got other digital initiatives under their app. better than the previous textile biz, which clothes biz can do well, so boring, unless is another Uniqlo lah, hahahaha, until the boss becomes billionaire. better sell it and go into the digital world. next time we will all cashless aldy.

i see the PN17 talk, please do ur homework lah, that one is only technical issue. Bursa reject then appeal lah. if bursa rejects again, then the original biz will still be there, the deal wont complete, means they still have their core biz there. simply talk

here’s no way Pertama Digital is going into PN17 leh. The Bursa not approving its waiver application has no impact on the operations of the company. I checked their announcement earlier, the waiver application rejected means the disposal of Tranche 3 for the textile business will not be complete, so the Be Top will remain as a 52% owned subsi of Pertama and Pertama will still be able to maintain its listing status on Bursa la.

PETALING JAYA: Pertama Digital Bhd has signed memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with Perfect Hexagon Commodity and Investment Bank Ltd (PHCIB) and Alsirat Sdn Bhd (ASB) to secure investment for its proposed digital bank.

According to the two MoUs, PHCIB and ASB intend to support financial inclusion initiatives by investing in the digital bank proposed by Pertama Digital. Both investors will participate by contributing to the digital bank’s initial capital funds alongside Pertama Digital.

(June 9): Pertama Digital Bhd has secured the first four product partners — Trevo, Paywatch, Qoala and Butterfly FX, which will bring expertise and solutions in their respective fields to plug into Pertama Digital’s proposed digital bank.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Permata Digital said this followed its recent announcements on securing Crowdo Holdings Pte Ltd and INFOPRO Sdn Bhd as consortium partners to apply for a digital banking licence from Bank Negara Malaysia.

The company said in order to build a digital bank that empowers financially underserved Malaysians, it has built strong relationships with existing financial inclusion innovators such as these companies on ethical financial products addressing insurance technology (insurtech), gig economy, and educational technology (edtech).

The dismissed will not change anything to Pertama Digital as Be Top is still 52 % of their subsidiary, they can still proceed with the acquisition of Dapat Vista to 80 %... please read and understand more...

As I know Pertama has good contacts with the government through Dapat Vista. The government is very aggressive in digitalising its services and payment as what was described at a forum organised by the PM’s Office yesterday. MoF is also looking for companies to manage their ipayment project through open tenders. I heard Pertama has also submitted a tender. Can keep a look out on this stock
