Yes, Spectre007 is right. It's a solid fact, dividend 7 sen. I also feel bad for those who have sold after the dividend announcement and those who are selling now.

Based on the financial reports it seems FPI's export sale is not that substantial . There isn't any detailed breakdown of export sales but I gauged it on the exchanged gain. Moreover , the China operation had been disposed of. Hence, I don't think the foreign exchange is an issue affecting the price. Correct me if I m wrong.

Even if it is for dividend... it's still better than putting in FD. Even if the bank pays u 7%, you still have to wait for 1 year. This one is only less than 1 month. And even after adjustment, with the company's fundamentals... easily will go back the your original price. Even if it doesn't go... it is still a handsome dividend..

Ego what? I am happy with the dividend. I don't gamble like you. So what's the problem? If the company gives good dividend, where is the problem? Not that I am going to sell today. It's only ex'ed today. Make some sense. .. only sohai like you will say coz u lack fundamentals. But no need to say la.. I am in for the long haul. And I was not ego. I am merely saying the dividend is good. And there's no doubt about it.
