The Disposal Consideration shall be paid in the following manner:-

(ii)The balance sum of RM13,500,000 only shall be paid by the Purchaser to GPHSB in the following manner:-

(b)on or before the 31stDecember 2017, a further sum of RM3,000,000 only;
(c)on or before the 31stMay 2018, the balance sum of RM7,500,000 only.

Disposal is a good news, plantation is not Gadang's core business, it has been making losses.

so fast sell already, as per management guidance last quarter, they want to divest non-core business. 1.2 mil disposal loss is actually lower than yearly losses incurred in current plantation division. Instead of waiting for another 2-3 year to see profit in plantation, they opt for cash now to strenghten their war chest.

hope they can make good use.
