Especially with already 2Mil user on XOX, now they are going to offer 50% discount on Monthly subscription to pull in more subscriber, just like how you all go to Genting for cheap hotel just to play2 casino. All will switch to XOX, monthly 20GB for RM25, vs DIGI/MAXIS RM98. that is what I was told in their marketing plan.

Section 3.1: Fintech Business Expansion
To capitalise on the rapid advancement of technologies, the Group intends to invest in the Fintech Business Expansion which is expected to add value and complement the Group’s existing MVNO business. To carry out the Fintech Business Expansion, save for the following, the Group does not require any specific approval from authorities to operate the XOX Digital Marketplace, Microfinancing Platform and Blockchain e-Wallet:-
(i) an approval from Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM”) to be an e-money issuer, of which the Group has obtained in September 2008; and
(ii) to provide microfinancing services, financiers are required to obtain a microfinancing license issued by BNM. The Group intends to venture into the microfinancing segment through collaborating with third party financiers to provide the microfinancing to users, while the Group’s role is to develop, operate and maintain the Microfinancing Platform. In view that the Group is not the financier, the Group is not required to obtain the microfinancing license. Nonetheless, the Group endeavours to only collaborate with third party financiers who has obtained the requisite microfinancing license. Kindly refer to Section 3.1(ii) of the First Announcement for further details on the Microfinancing Platform.
