Looking at the potential of this market, XOX said Telstra announced in July that it would launch an e-wallet platform in partnership with Wetek Group through its wholly-owned subsidiary XOX Media Pte Ltd, and that it would use Wetek Technology's microfinance facilities to encourage subscribers to use e-wallets.

WETEK Group is a leading fintech company in the Chinese market with cash loan products, big data risk monitoring, and cloud computing. The group is looking to technology big data to drive financial services, providing online micro-credit services to low- and middle-income groups through fintech platforms.

The group's cash-lending product, Worry-Free Borrowing, has introduced microcredit convenience in the Chinese market for the first time under the "100-second fast lending" model.

At the same time, WETEK Group, relying on its big data risk monitoring and cloud computing capabilities, pioneered the consumer micro-finance SAAS platform based on big data risk monitoring in the industry, allowing participants to join the consumer finance ecosystem through technology interfaces, so that capital, technology, customers, data, scenarios can effectively coordinate, greatly reduce transaction costs across the industry, and improve overall service efficiency, and promote the development of Universal Finance in China.

WetEK Group began last year to accelerate its global distribution and opened its first overseas branch in Vietnam.

Section 3.1: Fintech Business Expansion
To capitalise on the rapid advancement of technologies, the Group intends to invest in the Fintech Business Expansion which is expected to add value and complement the Group’s existing MVNO business.
