The MOU signed this afternoon and the details has been known during 2nd session of trading.
FGV price transacted at range bound of RM 1.28 - RM 1.30 which was still red. The good news seems been used to offload somebody's holding.

FGV HOLDINGS Bhd has denied a news report today stating that the plantation company seeks to reduce 6,000 workers over a three-year period as a move to trim costs, while optimising assets under its extensive turnaround plan.

Its CEO Haris Fadzilah Hassan explained that the group had never intended to terminate 6,000 of its workers, but only planned to reduce 10% of manpower cost per year.

By right during starting last month oil palm inventory should reduce significantly but it is not happening this year. This show the export is not improving. Suspect coming September inventory will sky rocket high. This may due to world oil palm production is too high and demand is not there. Indonesia is expanding too much plus country in Africa, Colombia, Thailand is planting more palm oil. See oil palm no future anymore in Malaysia. A lot of land is converted to coconut and musang King.
Question: why develop country like Europe, Japan, Taiwan, Korea do not what use oil palm oil for cooking? Ask Teresa kok?

News from my contacts in association of restaurants owners and PRESMA informed me that strong initiatives are carried out to ensure they fully use sawit oil and to support the palm oil movement. #sawitku
