two things can happen......1) Ranhill lobby to get back back the licence
and a bit delay in listing....2) SC will investigate and stop the listing and refund............dont worry ranhill would not be allowed listing without the petronas license....I think 90% chances for REFUNDDDD

PETRONAS will not simply reconsider the licence because of what happen in Melaka and in fact i don't think management of PETRONAS will agree to this.

Ranhill Energy And Resources Bhd semalam menarik balik permohonannya untuk mendapatkan penyenaraian dalam Pasaran Utama Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd.

Dalam maklumannya kepada Bursa Malaysia, Ranhill Energy berkata ia telah membuat keputusan untuk menarik balik permohonannya bagi tawaran awam awal (IPO) sebanyak 407 juta saham biasa bernilai RM1 setiap satu, yang dikemukakan kepada Suruhanjaya Sekuriti Malaysia pada 14 Januari.

"Lembaga akan memastikan semua wang permohonan/penempatan bagi IPO itu dikembalikan kepada semua pemohon/pelabur tanpa faedah secara teratur dan tidak lewat daripada 7 Ogos," katanya.

Runhill mgt have been ignoring calls by petronas engineeers at site to expedite and accelerate the project and rectified problems.. Tan sri thought could "play-play" since thought many friends high up could help. but when call for ban comes from bottom and project engineers are willing to go through all the hassle to presenting the banning case; ranhill is dead for sure. Only handful of company being banned by petronas and most of them bungkus already. Upstream business for ranhill also going for bungkus as most engineers have been laid off or contract not renewed. better stay privatelah Tan sri.

Ranhill is sucker. Previously Ranhill Bhd delisted by buying back all shares at rock bottom when the NTA is much higher.
