MALAYSIAN AIRLINES MADE PROFIT 14 MILLION

Our bottom line for the first quarter is positive with a small RM14 million profit for the airline and RM51 million for the group before exceptional costs. These costs are the sign-on bonuses we paid in the last months and some other restructuring charges. This is a marked improvement from last year’s loss of more than RM450 million for the airline alone.
