Sadly, we are not dealing with natural virus here! Covid is a man made virus! And the rate of mutation is just shocking! Within 3 months, new variants are discovered!
Like it or not, vaccine has somewhat potpone such rapid mutation! That's why Malaysia and the rest of the world should implement vaccine mandate! Make it compulsory!
Only 30% malaysians remain unvaccinated! There's no excuse why you can't get vaccinated anymore! Almost all PPV allow walk ins! And it only takes half an hour to get that jab!
Unfortunately, by end of November maybe 20% will remain unvaccinated because maybe, they are just plain hard headed! So let them be! I doubt by end of next year they will be around!
So basically around 6 million malaysians at risk of dying from Covid if they are infected or land up in hospitals!

There's little nature can do! If you survive Covid, congrat! Especially if you are unvaccinated! But with likehood of 11 times dying from Covid or 10 times likehodd of you landing in hospital, chances of letting nature take it's course is super risky! Decision is yours!

Yes. It is man made. No way the patient is from USA as the transmissibility of this virus is so great. The outbreak is always very closed to the source. So sad many local Chinese here still believe that patient zero is from the US.

If it is from a US veteran, those who travelled with the patient zero will get infected too and so are the passengers and the flight crews.

A person needs to understand how a virus can transmit to human. Virus from animal won't transmit to human overnight. Usually it is done with an extra work called "gain of function". For a bat virus to mutate until it can transmit to human, it may take hundreds of years, probably thousands too.

Gain of function research can make any animal virus being able to transmit to human with just years of research.
