南美洲国家厄瓜多尔表示，前总统莫雷诺（Lenin Moreno）与其他36人，被指控收受中国国企的贿赂，以换取该国最大水力发电厂的合约，估计贿款高达7600万美元，目前莫雷诺已遭软禁在家。　 厄瓜多尔检察官办公室称，在2017年到2021年间担任总统的莫雷诺与其他36人，疑似收受来自中企约7600万美元的贿款，以换取该国最大水力发电厂的合约，堪称是该国“被起诉贪污案中涉案金额最高者”。 　　据悉，这件贪污案聚焦在Coca Codo Sinclair 水力发电厂的建设及营运，此标案由中国国企-中国水电（Sinohydro）取得，总投资23亿美元，满足厄瓜多尔3分之1人口的电力需求，也是中国一带一路倡议的一部分。 　　厄瓜多尔总检察长沙拉萨（Diana Salazar）已对接受调查的人进行“预防性拘留”，由于部分受贿者年事已高，同意莫雷诺等14人居家软禁。 　　沙拉萨强调，目前已寻求各国合作冻结相关资产，这些资产分布在瑞士、西班牙、中国、巴拿马、巴拉圭、美国和贝里斯。

using 1 road 1 belt to bribe the politicians is not working anymore, people will change government to punish the corrupted leader and sent them to jail.
