The ringgit traded higher against the US dollar, in early trade, as the greenback declined on expectations of more stimulus measures from US to bolster economic growth in the world's largest economy, dealers said.
The ringgit rose against the US dollar to 3.1065/1095 from 3.1190/1215 yesterday.
The local currency was lower against the Singapore dollar at 2.4936/4976 from 2.4922/4958 yesterday and was easier against the yen at 3.9543/9586 from 3.9291/9346 yesterday.
The ringgit eased against the British pound to 4.9372/9429 from 4.9275/9326 yesterday and depreciated against the euro to 3.8943/8987 from 3.8891/8928 on Wednesday. -- Bernama
