Malaysia's liquefied natural gas exports rose 11 per cent from June to the highest level in four months, according to data from the Statistics Department.
Petroliam Nasional Bhd, the state-owned oil and gas producer known as Petronas, shipped 2.22 million metric tonnes of the supercooled fuel in July, the data show. That's up from 1.99 million in June.
Kuala Lumpur-based Petronas received RM5.25 billion, or about US$13.99 per million British thermal units, for July exports. The price was US$14.01 in June.-- Bloomberg
