The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were traded lower in the early session today, ahead of the New Year, dealers said.
At 10am, both December 2013 and June 2014 were flat at 1,868.5 and 1,866.5 respectively, while January 2014 slipped 0.5 of a point to 1,872.5 and March 2014 declined 2.5 points to 1,870.
Turnover amounted 1,141 lots, while open interest stood at 46,773 contracts.
The underlying FBM KLCI was 6.02 points lower at 1,866.72 after an hour of trading.-- Bernama
