revenue from just merely 200 mil in 2018 to 1.3 billion last year (6x in just 4 years), and this year would touch 2 billion with additional Port Kelang business, Vietnam contract, STS Victoria and increase oil price.. and finally dividend will be paid this year.. Price should be at least 20 cents. .. but sentiment towards this counter..very very low. Safe for preserve cash at this situation.

Strait is doing consolidation to reduce the NOSH and is not like those consolidation as done by the fintec group purely for fund raising and for market play... we may see a re-rating of its shares , post consolidation . The company is profitable and trading at an acceptable PE 0f around 15X..... It have been driven down by the poor market sentiment as well and the negative feeling among investors on the consolidation exercise. ....Good Luck

previous year corresponding quarter revenue = RM 295 mil, this current year quarter revenue RM 641 mil --> wow
previous year corresponding quarter net profit RM 1.9 mil, this current year quarter net profit RM 601 thousand only? --> uh, eh, aaa, hmmm...

i believe the capas and utility rate at the max due to the improve activities in trading...but the bigger question that shoud be answered is.. why company intentionally make the profit maragin so low !!

Gen2. U posted a good question. Kalau company revenue naik, makna semua kapal utilisation rate has improved. I am sure the profit margin will eventually improve. Straits has been making money every Q, it dosent matter even profit itu kecil. Remember they were also making profit during covid time 2020, 2021. And now they are declaring dividend forthe first time. Good sign kan.

stock price isn't high. with Ukraine and Russia started to cease, price of gas will come down gradually. This will give more margin for the price of Straits.
High price of oil isn't benefiting Straits.
Only when oil price started to drop, it will benefit Straits.
