Description:
Boustead Plantations Bhd owns oil palm plantations in Southeast Asia. It cultivates oil palm and harvests fresh fruit bunches (each bunch is taken from an oil palm tree and can contain several hundred individual fruits) throughout its fields. Research and development investments range from improving crop transportation to developing new oil palm breeds. The company produces and sells crude palm oil, palm kernel, and fresh fruit bunches to maintain flexibility with customers. Additionally, it provides mill design and consultancy services. Examinations play an integral role to the consultancy services and enhance plant production capabilities.

CPO price bounce back from from 6100 to 6400. Tmr dijangka naik.
Everyone want to lock in their 7%. Who know before ex date, it drop back to RM1 to buy back and still entitle for the 7%. This way, they make 14% instead of 7.

They only trim 1.5% after million and million shares they sold.
Actually, I don't want them to hold any if possible. Better let syndicate take over.
But it will cost syndicate 270M just to buy in. Not to say goreng yet. That's why u never see people like KYY punt for any counter with market cap above RM1B. Cost too much capital to push or support and not much meat if successful.

From April 28 to May 5, among the notable shareholding changes that took place at Bursa Malaysia-listed companies were those at Boustead Plantation Bhd, where Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT) hived off 12.47 million shares to trim its stake to 10.59%, or 237.21 million shares. The state-controlled armed forces fund held a 12.07% stake, or 270.31 million shares, in the plantation company in late February.

Cash generated from Q1,22 alone is RM98M. And compare to Bplant best quarter in Q3,2017 where cash generated by Q3 was RM160M averaging 50M a quarter. Price moved from 85sen to 1.1sen for 30% return after bonus issue.
Next quarter also another RM100M cash from operation and another bonus issue in Sept. Then, 60%-80% return from 85sen is not impossible.

I sold Bplant in 2018 because they bought plantation in Sabah. They misprice the value of the plantation. All trees where old and need replanting. I sold without looking back knowing very well next few quarter going to be red.
Now, from last year RM5.8M bounce to RM71M. This is not because CPO. This is because the plantation is starting to mature. Don't be surprise if you see crazier number next quarter.
on top of that, bplant don't sell at forward pricing like simeplant stucked at RM4K to RM5K for don't know how long. Folks from Simeplant, time to sell ur simeplant and hop over here.
When this kinda good QR coming out but "analyst" seems to be unusally quiet and no coverage. U tau2 la.
Normally those that they buy in, cepat je they say good things on bad QR. When no buy in, they either keep quiet or just meehhhh. U wait them collect next 2 QR and see, they pok pek pok pek non-stop on Q3'22 result in Nov

at 1.01... didnt buy "yet".... the next morning (yesterday) become 1.07. hahahahahaa
means = no need buy to avg down liao... hahahahahaha
laugh die me..
I also laugh at you. I locked in profit for 99.5 entries, 1.00, 1.01, and 1.02 entries 25K per batch at 1.07 and 1.08.
I learn to up that time take profit, down that time buy back. As long as company fundamental good, will continue to do that. Price uptrend to next year feb is not going to be straight line anyway.
rj... haha yaya i just learned this "method" last month after sold all... hahahaha ZHA DOU!
now will be doing the same.. releasing in batches and queue buy in batches too... hehe
1 day ago
split fund into long, mid and short. Each entry different TP.
Short one are 1-2weeks, buy at panic selldown. 3-5% rebound take profit.
Mid one are support broken, 1-2weeks after support broken and price stabilizes. Hold 3-6 months.(Basically give company a couple of quarters to fix their shit)
Long one a buying into good fundamentals. Hold 1-2 years. Usually counters with dividend.

To the same person tht posted the “dijangka” news, I think this FGV guy did not mention WHEN it will go down to 5k. No time horizon at all, else u will see FGV enter into lots of Palm Oil Futures under “Derivative Financial Instruments” in their coming announcement… stay tuned… btw, y u don’t post this in FGV page?
Very stupeet one these shortist. U go TG at this price still got chance.
TG report 50-100m losses that time u can make 10-20% by shorting.
Come short plantation thats going to have strong earnings. Really stupeeedt

The funniest part is how does he justify that CPO price will drop below RM5,000 instead of moving up above RM7,000?
Good morning brothers…
The word “dijangka” MEANS GUESSING.
Everybody can guess ma…haha
Its either up or down. He got 50% chances to be right or wrong….
At the end of the day… it’s same like LP PL only… hahaha

Tom DICK n Harry can “jangka” what they wanna jangka, but I am surprised CEO of FGV to said as such. Unless his pay doesn’t measured by profitability like the rest of the GLCs incl. Sapura…
5 hours ago
Again, he will be just another DICK if coming FGV announcement we don’t see FGV entered into lots of forward contracts… if they does, I wished them lose all their bets…
4 hours ago
Haha, Dick, I know that dick. Can see his name appears everywhere in i3 forums, somehow his only positive comment is for Prestar. LOL

UPDATES, Dicks’s dick have been clipped… now he is flying without a dick…

no la…I come here look for good debate to make better investing decision. Once decided on the strategy, I will see it through. Just now i tot someone was talking about me. “The rest has left”. No ar, i’m still here. Not as active. But still here.
This one seems easy and safe. I once wasted 15 months waiting DUFU to go up from RM0.8 to RM6. Although i didn’t make whole 600%. But that lesson taught me good business can hold as long as it’s still good. Makes no sense to sell good business just because it already up 30-40%. Sifu CYF was a millionaire and has trippled or quadrupled his millions.
U look at whole sector la, tell me which sector will do well? Construction rely on gov handout. Gov is pretty broke now. Property depends on Debt to GDP ratio. Debt to GDP at all time high. Tech depends on OPR. OPR drop, they up. Now OPR trending up or down to fight inflation? Onlly left OnG and Plantation will have green quarters. The rest very unlikely to be green in the long term.
