SapuraCrest Petroleum Berhad is an investment holding company. It has four segments: installation of pipelines and facilities, which is engaged in the installation of offshore platforms and marine pipelines; offshore oil and gas drilling, which is engaged in the drilling of offshore oilwells and chartering of rigs involved in drilling offshore oilwells; marine services, which is engaged in the provision of offshore geotechnical and geophysical services to the oil and gas industry, development of marine technology and marine chartering, specializing on remotely operated vehicles; operations and maintenance, which is engaged in the repairs and refurbishment of industrial gas turbines, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of point-of-sale systems. In August 2011, it incorporated a subsidiary Sapura Petroleum. In September 2011, it acquired Momentum Energy Sdn Bhd and incorporated SC Projects Pty Ltd. In October 2011, it incorporated a subsidiary, SC Offshore Pty Ltd.
