I am expecting the price of the Maxis will go up by 10%-12% in a few weeks, I am targeting around RM3.88. Buyat the existing price and the stop loss should be set somewhere around RM3.33.

What a relief that Mokhzani Mahathir stepped down! Good news to Maxis as Gov related funds no need to think thrice to invest more in Maxis in order to push up the index to more than 1800 points!

EPF account 3 activation and withdrawal would increase the domestic consumer spending with significant multiplier effects to the Malaysia economy. This would benefit Maxis directly as more customers signing up for maxis zerolution/ postpaid/ family plan in order to get new 5G compatible smartphone at minimal upfront cost. Cheers!

One more thing… after data center site visiting, I realized that all data centers required ports from telcos. For instance, Maxis offers a service called Data Center Connect with a service level availability (SLA) of up to 99.999% via multiple diverse fiber routes. Without which, data center is useless without telco services.

next Friday 31 May is MSCI index rebalancing day. Maxis weighting in the index has fallen because other components stock prices have gone up since the last rebalancing day. Anyone has any idea what that will do to maxis share price come this Friday?
