In 1982, she was made a partner of KPMG and in 1990 she was appointed Managing Partner of KPMG Penang practice. During this time, she was also a Director of KPMG Tax Services Sdn Bhd. Her expertise is in taxation and her experience in tax advisory and consultancy services covered a diversified range of industries. She was the Tax/ Client Partner for multinational clients of KPMG's overseas offices which have manufacturing facilities in Penang.
