Dato’ Mat Noor Nawi is currently the Deputy Secretary General (Systems & Controls) at the Ministry of Finance, following his recent transfer from the Economic Planning Unit (EPU) of the Prime Minister’s Department in October 2011.

Having served the Government for 30 years, Dato’ Mat Noor Nawi’s career in the Malaysian civil service started in May 1981 as an Agriculture Economist at the Federal Agriculture Marketing Authority (FAMA) before joining the EPU in 1983. He has since continued to serve EPU in various capacities. His last position in EPU was Deputy Director General I before joining MOF.
