Aneka Jaringan Posts RM41.2 Million in Revenue For 3Q

Group’s gross profit increased significantly by 136.6% in 3Q FYE2023

KUALA LUMPUR, 27 JULY 2023Aneka Jaringan Holdings Berhad ("Aneka Jaringan" or the "Group"; Bursa: ANEKA, 0226), a basement and foundation construction specialist, is pleased to announce an increase in revenue to RM41.2 million for the third quarter ended 31 May 2023 (“3Q FYE2023”) compared with RM37.5 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year (“3Q FYE2022”).

For the quarter under review, the Group has turned around its financial performance, registering a gross profit of RM1.5 million, as opposed to a gross loss of RM4.2 million recorded in 3Q FYE2022. The Group’s loss after tax (“LAT”) has been significantly reduced to RM2.9 million compared with RM7.7 million in the corresponding quarter of the preceding year.

For the nine months ended 31 May 2023 (“9M FYE2023”), Aneka Jaringan recorded a rise in revenue to RM137.1 million compared with RM121.1 million in the corresponding period of the previous financial year (“9M FYE2022”). The Group registered a gross profit of RM1.0 million, which is a remarkable turnaround from the gross loss of RM11.0 million recorded during the corresponding period. Additionally, LAT for the nine-month period narrowed to RM11.8 million from RM19.3 million.

Managing Director of Aneka Jaringan, Pang Tse Fui said, "We are cautiously optimistic about its performance in the upcoming financial quarters. To date, we have secured a total of RM304.9 million in new projects, with the most recent projects secured since the last interim quarterly report amounting to RM193.3 million. With these new projects, our focus remains on timely execution."

“Meanwhile, PT Aneka Jaringan Indonesia (“PTAJI”) continues to meet our growth expectations, contributing positively to the Group's performance."

As of 3Q FYE2023, Aneka Jaringan’s total order book stood at RM95.2 million, of which Malaysian operations contributed RM88.9 million, with Indonesian operations contributing RM6.3 million.
