HEXZA’s Financial Position as at 30 June 2021

What is not known to many minority shareholders is the amount of RM139.5 million in its Other Investments.

In a company announcement dated 31 July 2019, the following was disclosed.

Recent performance of the above stocks:

During the period from 6 December 2018 to 14 October 2019, it disposed certain quoted securities for cash and wishes to make this Announcement.

Based on the closing price on 20-11-2021, simple calculation shows that the company’s value of the following shares:

Apple: 160,000 * 160.55 * 4.2 = RM107,889,600 (Note: The stock split on a 4-for-1 basis on 28-08-2020)

NVIDIA: 84,000 * 329.85 * 4.2 = RM116,371,080 (Note: The stock split on a 4-for-1 basis on 20-07-2021)

Facebook: 25,000 * 345.30 * 4.2 = RM36,256,500

Alibaba: 5,000 * 140.34 * 4.2 = RM2,947,140

Subtotal of these foreign share investments worth RM263,464,320!

The hidden value of this listed company is now partially made known to the public, but the stock is still a hidden gem!
