3D printing or also known as additive manufacturing is helping product engineers and manufacturers worldwisde to realize their design ideas at every stage of manufacturing – from concept to production, while cutting down cost and time to market. Some estimates that 3D printing will be worth more than 21 billion US dollars by 2020. We speak to Robert Yancey, Vice President of Additive Manufacturing for Altair Inc about the opportunities this opens up for businesses here in Malaysia.
