Decolonisation is not just transfer of political power, the lowering of one flag and the rise of another. It's a process of social cultural change where we learn to adapt, in that we find our own identity, find our own past through the world. How was Malaysia's economy and society reconfigured, post-Independence? Has Malaysia truly united and are we truly decolonised?
