Whether or not the Yang di-Pertuan Agong can influence the government is a question that has occupied observers recently, in the wake of calls for the ruler to intervene in the removal of Prime Minister Dato' Seri Najib Razak. This is a report by Lyn Mak and Azlyn Balqis.
