Higher education is often considered one of the main drivers of a nation’s productivity. Individuals with tertiary education are seen as more skilled, knowledgeable, and overall, more valuable in a workforce. As such, the expansion of higher education is an important priority for many countries, however, there are still many, who lack access and opportunities to higher education. We speak with Dr. Graeme Atherton, Adjunct Professor at Sunway University, as well ad founder of AccessHE and the National Education Opportunities Network (or NEON) in the UK.
